What SprintCar Pro Does

SprintCar Pro helps your team remember every change, learn what worked, and make a better decision next time. The value comes from connecting the car, track, conditions, setup, driver feedback, change, and result instead of keeping those details scattered across paper notes and memory.

START HERE - YOUR FIRST 10 MINUTES

Use this quick lap through the app before race night. You do not need every optional field filled out to get value; start with the information your crew already uses.

1. Step 1 - Add your car. Open Cars and enter the essentials: car name/number, engine class, chassis brand, rear end ratio, usual gear, and baseline notes. Save the car.
2. Step 2 - Add your track. Open Tracks, create or select the track, and save the track name, location, length, surface, usual condition, and cushion notes.
3. Step 3 - Create your baseline setup. Open Setups, choose the car and track, pick the session type, enter the important tire, stagger, gear, wing, chassis, engine, and fuel notes, then save.
4. Step 4 - Record the conditions. Save the session, track condition, cushion, and weather details that matter for the night.
5. Step 5 - Record driver feedback. Use the supported driver-feel language: tight entry, tight center, tight off, loose entry, loose center, loose off, lacks forward bite, will not rotate, or too free on throttle.
6. Step 6 - Record what you changed. Put every meaningful adjustment in the setup notes before the next session.
7. Step 7 - Record the result. Note whether the car improved, got worse, or showed no meaningful change. Use finish position and detailed notes for the result.
8. Step 8 - Compare next time. The next time you return to the same car, track, or condition, use the saved history to make a better-informed call.

How to Use SprintCar Pro at the Track

Cars

Use Cars as the garage list. Renaming a car keeps existing setup records linked to that car.

• Save car name, number, chassis brand, engine class, engine spec, manufacturer profile, package label, rear end ratio, common quick-change gear, safe RPM limit, and notes.
• Use the installed inventory summary to see engines and parts assigned to that car.
• Assign parts from Inventory by editing a part and choosing the car in the assignment field.
• Deleting a car removes it from the car list; existing setup records stay saved.

Tracks

Use Tracks to keep the surface and geometry details that shape setup decisions.

• Add or update track name, location, length, surface, banking, corner radius, dirt type, cushion description, typical condition, key notes, and detailed notes.
• Use search and country/state filters to find a saved track quickly.
• Track packs can load common Canada/USA and Australia/New Zealand tracks. Running a pack again skips duplicates.
• Radius, banking, dirt, and cushion notes help the advisor make more useful recommendations.

Setups

Setups are the race notebook. Save one setup per meaningful session so you can compare what changed and what the driver felt.

• Save setup stores the current session.
• New setup clears the editor for the next session.
• Use detailed notes to record the change and the result when the app does not have a separate result field for that item.
• Print setup sheet creates a crew-friendly sheet. Use the 1-page Race Day option when you need a compact printout.
• Apply recommended chassis fills a recommended baseline when one is available. Review it before saving.

Crew Chief Advisor

The Crew Chief Advisor turns a driver complaint and track condition into setup ideas. It is strongest when the car, track, setup, weather, fuel, wing, cushion, and driver feel fields are filled in.

1. Open a saved setup or fill the current setup.
2. Choose the driver complaint, such as tight entry, loose off, lacks forward bite, hops, will not rotate, too much wing drag, needs side bite, or track is slick.
3. Choose track grip and phase affected: entry, center, exit, whole corner, straightaway, or starts/restarts.
4. Add the driver note in plain language.
5. Click Recommend Changes.
6. Read the recommendation, expected result, caution, and related parts. Use Add to Setup Notes when a suggestion is worth keeping with the session.

Weather

Weather helps you track air, density altitude, radar, and the forecast window around your race program.

• Use Track, city, or address to search for the race location, or click Use my location when your browser permits GPS.
• Review temperature, humidity, altimeter/pressure, wind, precipitation chance, density altitude, and elevation.
• Use the live radar panel to watch incoming weather.
• Use manual override fields when the track weather station or your pit readings are more accurate than the forecast.
• Use the hourly session window to plan for qualifying, heats, mains, and track prep changes.

Inventory

Inventory keeps parts, quantities, locations, car assignments, and shopping needs organized.

• Filter by category, subcategory, engine, location, car assignment, or search text.
• Common categories include suspension, engine, driveline, wheels and tires, brakes, safety, fuel system, electrical/ignition, tools and shop, and other.
• Save part name, part number, brand, quantity on hand, bin/location, needed quantity, preferred supplier, and notes.
• Assign parts to a car when they live with a specific chassis package.
• Use Add to shopping list for items you need to buy soon.

Engines

Use Engines to keep build, tune, and service notes tied to each motor.

• Create engines with name, class, serial/ID, builder/shop, displacement, hours, timing, tuning notes, firing order, lash, plug gap, leakdown, and notes.
• Set an active engine to keep engine-related inventory and tuning notes organized.
• Use the builder/shop field consistently so you can find related records later.
• Update engine hours and notes after race nights, refreshes, or dyno changes.

Telemetry

Telemetry Viewer is for crew analysis and after-run review. It accepts SprintCar Pro JSON plus GPS logger TXT, LOG, and NMEA files.

• Click Select GPS/TXT file or drop a supported file into the import area.
• Choose a session and lap view, then adjust path smoothing, maximum GPS accuracy, spike filter, minimum path speed, and display units.
• Use the car path viewer, sample marker, playback speed, speed readout, lateral G, total G, lap table, and sample table to review the run.
• Use map replay to compare the driven line against the visible track surface one lap at a time.
• Export a smoothed CSV when you want to review data outside SprintCar Pro.

Team Manager / Crew

Team Manager controls who can use the team's SprintCar Pro access.

• Review the current team access card for your role and team ID.
• Owners and crew chiefs can add or invite crew by name, email, and role.
• Available roles are crew, driver, and crew chief. Owner access is protected.
• Use Save role to update a member's role, or Remove to remove access when a crew member changes teams.

Sync / Backup / Restore

Local Data Vault helps protect the team data stored in the browser you are using.

• Offline Readiness shows browser storage, network status, and whether the app shell is ready for offline use.
• Install App adds SprintCar Pro to supported devices for quicker access.
• Refresh Offline Cache updates the cached app shell for offline readiness.
• Export Vault Backup downloads a JSON backup of the active team vault in this browser.
• Import Backup restores a previously exported JSON backup after confirmation.

Account / Trial

Manage sign-in, orders, subscriptions, memberships, and billing details through My Account.

• The free trial gives access for 30 days with no credit card required.
• After signing in, use the site menu item Open App to launch SprintCar Pro.
• Use Orders, Subscriptions, and Memberships in My Account for purchase and access history.
• Use Account details for your login and profile information.

Accounting

Accounting tracks sponsor invoices, payments, expenses, journal entries, ledger activity, accounts, and team tax/profile information.

• Start in Team / Tax Profile with team/company name, contact details, tax label, tax number, default tax rate, invoice prefix, footer note, and logo.
• Add sponsors or customers with name, email, phone, address, and notes.
• Create invoices using a package such as wing sponsor, tire sponsor, general sponsor, or custom amount.
• Record sponsor payments against invoices with amount, date, and method/reference.
• Post expenses or balanced journal entries when you need a fuller ledger.
• Use the dashboard to watch cash/bank, accounts receivable, sponsor revenue, and tax payable.
