Quick Start (Owner Safe Rules)

START HERE Non-technical Printable

SprintCar Pro stores your cars, tracks, setups, notes, inventory, and history. This manual matches the exact top tabs you see in SCP.

  1. Save often. If you type changes, click the Save button on that screen.
  2. Backup before race weekend. View Options → Create Backup.
  3. Backup after the night. Your best setups and notes are now protected.
  4. Edit the correct item. Confirm the selected car/track/setup before typing.
Do not rely on memory. If it matters, type it. After each session: Save + add a short note.

Main Screen Overview

Cars / Tracks / Setups / Analytics / Inventory / Weather / View Options / AI Assistant

The top tabs are the main workflow. Click a tab to switch sections.

  1. Open SCP.
  2. Look across the top for the tabs.
  3. Click a tab. The screen changes instantly.

Cars Tab — Create & Manage Cars

WORKFLOW New / Save / Rename / Delete

Use Cars to add your cars and keep details consistent.

Create a new car Required
  1. Click Cars.
  2. Click New.
  3. Type the Car name.
  4. Optional: enter number, chassis brand, engine class, notes.
  5. Click Save car.
Rule: Save before switching tabs.
Edit an existing car Common
  1. Click the car in the list (left).
  2. Edit on the right.
  3. Click Save car.
Rename or delete Careful
Rename is safer than delete if you’re unsure.
  1. Rename: select car → Rename car → confirm.
  2. Delete: select car → Delete car → confirm.

Tracks Tab — Add Tracks

WORKFLOW Search / Filters / Save

Use Tracks to add tracks manually and keep notes about conditions.

Add a track manually Required
  1. Click Tracks.
  2. Click New.
  3. Enter Track name and details (surface, banking, notes).
  4. Click Save track.
Find a track quickly Fast
  1. Use Search to filter by name/city/notes.
  2. Use filters like Surface and Country if available.

Setups Tab — Sessions & Setup Editor

CORE TAB Save setup Print setup sheet

Record each session and the setup used. Work top→bottom, then Save.

Create a new setup Required
  1. Click Setups.
  2. Click New setup.
  3. Fill Date, Session name, Session type.
  4. Select Saved car and Saved track.
  5. Enter weather, engine, chassis, notes as needed.
  6. Click Save setup.
Print setup sheet Printable
  1. Open the setup you want.
  2. Click Print setup sheet.
  3. If “1-page Race Day” exists, enable it.
Warning: Switch tabs only after Save setup.

Analytics Tab — Performance Summary

READ-ONLY Totals / By track / Comparison

Analytics summarizes results. It does not change setups.

  1. Click Analytics.
  2. Review totals and breakdowns.
  3. If comparison exists, pick Setup A/B and read results.

Inventory Tab — Engines & Parts

TEAM RECORDS Assign to car

Inventory keeps engines and parts organized and tied to cars.

Engines Common
  1. Click Inventory.
  2. Click New engine.
  3. Fill details → click Save engine.
Parts Common
  1. Add/edit a part.
  2. Assign to a car if available.

Weather Tab — Conditions

REFERENCE GPS fill if available

Weather records conditions for the session.

  1. Click Weather.
  2. Use “current weather” if available.
  3. Edit values to match reality.

View Options Tab — Owner Control Center

MOST IMPORTANT Backup / Restore

Backups and restore live here. Owners should know this tab.

Create Backup Required
  1. Click View Options.
  2. Find Create Backup.
  3. Click it and save the file somewhere safe.
Restore Backup Careful
Warning: Restore replaces data with the backup file.
  1. Find Restore Backup.
  2. Select the backup file.
  3. Confirm your data after restore.

AI Assistant Tab — Help

SAFE Guidance only

Ask questions. You still apply changes yourself in Setups.

  1. Click AI Assistant.
  2. Ask your question.
  3. Apply changes in Setups and Save.

Race Day Checklist (Print This)

PRINT Simple
Before leaving the shop Required
  1. View Options → Create Backup.
  2. Confirm cars and tracks exist.
At the track Workflow
  1. After each session: Save setup + add a note.
  2. Print setup sheet if needed.
After the night Required
  1. Final Save setup + notes.
  2. View Options → Create Backup (date it).
Best habit: “Save + note” after every session.
